📲 Install an iSpeak Browser Extension

📚 Which extension for which platform

Each iSpeak extension owns its own lane — pick the one that matches what you're watching or reading:

① Get your iSpeak API key required

The extensions are free to install, but they need an iSpeak / Paj Hlub API key to translate and speak.

1. Go to silverancestors.com/pajhlub-audio.html and choose a plan (a free tier is available).
2. You'll receive a key that looks like sft_live_xxxxxxxx… — keep it private. One key works in all of the iSpeak extensions.

② Install it in Chrome

These aren't on the Chrome Web Store yet, so you load the one you chose yourself — about a minute:

1. Download the extension's .zip from the home page (just the one you want), and unzip it — remember where the folder lands.
2. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions
3. Turn on Developer mode (toggle, top-right).
4. Click Load unpacked → select the unzipped folder.
5. The black-and-white icon appears — click the puzzle-piece 🧩 and pin it. (Repeat only if you want another one.)

📱 On an Android tablet or phone new

Android's own Chrome can't run extensions — but the free Quetta Browser can. Today this works best for 🎬 iSpeakMovieDub:

Install (about two minutes)

1. From Google Play, install “Quetta - Video Private Browser” (by Quetta Networks).
2. Download the extension .zip onto the device (email it to yourself or use Google Drive → it lands in Downloads). Don’t unzip it — Quetta loads the .zip directly.
3. Quetta ⋮ → Extensions → turn Developer mode ON → tap “+ (from .zip/.crx/.user.js)” → pick the .zip → enable it.

Watch & dub (Amazon Prime)

1. In Quetta, tap ⋮ → Desktop site (ON), then go to primevideo.com → play a title → if asked, choose “watch in browser” (not the app).
2. Turn subtitles / CC ON → English (tap the video → CC icon).
3. 📌 There’s no toolbar icon on mobile — open Quetta’s ⋮ / puzzle (Extensions) menu and tap “iSpeakMovieDub.” Its panel drops onto the page. Paste your 🔑 key, pick your language — it dubs each subtitle line aloud.

③ Use the one you installed

🎬 iSpeakMovieDub — Netflix & Amazon Prime

1. Open a movie/show on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video with subtitles available. (YouTube is now handled by iSpeakSocialDub — audio capture, no captions needed.)
2. Click the pinned iSpeakMovieDub icon → its panel opens. Click 🔑 to paste your key (once).
3. Turn subtitles/CC ON — on Netflix/Prime, pick the English subtitle track (it reads them to translate) — then pick your language and click 🔊 Active.

📲 iSpeakSocialDub — YouTube, Shorts & social video

1. Open a video on YouTube or Shorts, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or X. Click the pinned iSpeakSocialDub icon → a popup opens (Chrome requires tab-audio capture to start here). Paste your key there.
2. Pick your From (the spoken language) and To (your language), then click Start — a bar appears while it dubs. Click its ✕ to stop.

📰 iSpeakArticle — any article

1. Open any article, click the pinned iSpeakArticle icon → its panel opens. Click 🔑 to paste your key (once).
2. Pick your language, click 📖 Click-to-Read, then tap any paragraph — it reads aloud from there.

🎧 iSpeakPodcastDub — any playing audio

1. Open a page with a playing podcast/audio, click the pinned iSpeakPodcastDub icon → a popup opens (Chrome requires tab-audio capture to start here). Paste your key there.
2. Pick your language and click Start — a bar appears while it dubs. Click its ✕ to stop.

④ Updating to a new version

The extensions improve often. When a newer version is on the home page, updating takes about 20 seconds — and your API key and settings are kept:

1. Download the new .zip and unzip it over your existing extension folder, replacing the old files. Keeping the same folder is what preserves your key and settings.
2. Open chrome://extensions, find the extension, and click its ↻ Reload icon.
3. Done — the version number on the card updates to the new one. You do not need to re-enter your key.
